Kingston Micro SD gets unmounted when downloading to it

[Windows Central Question]

Surface Pro 3:
When I download a file from the internet and let it save to my micro sd folder the card gets unmounted. I have to take it out and put it back in, otherwise I can?t use it. Occurs with any file size.
When copying a file from my harddisk to the card everything is fine.

Any suggestions?

The only things I can think of is formatting it or trying with a different card to see if the same behaviour happens again
