My Windows live mail stopped working today. Is there a reason

At Midday today Sept 30th My e mails stopped working. I checked with the service provider and they confirmed that their system is still operating via webmail so the problem seems to be with live l=mail

Which device? There was a big hotmail update, but no iussues written in forum till now, did you got an error code?
