I followed this guide to change user name and user folder:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBL5MbmmOnk

It was successfull.

However search is no longer searching my installed apps.

I tried changing all values in registry with old user folder name to new.
I tried to start building index again and make sure there is correct path to start menu programs and user folders

It did not help..

Hello,

1. I already restarted many times, it did not help
2. I do not have Cortana
3. I restarted explorer.exe and search still does not work
4. Troubleshooter did not detect any problem
5. I already tried both "Automatic (Delayed Start) or Automatic " , it did not help

I would not change anything in registry , but there was no other way to change user folder name even if you change username.
I would not change my user folder name ,but because I used symbol "Ľ" in my username , windows also used it for user folder and some programms were not able to open anything from user folder ,because they were not able to read correct encoding of user folder path

Hi! I don't know! Check to see if Windows Search is set to automatic in services!! That's the best I can do! Maybe save your data and reset! You could also try a in-place repair install. You could also do a repair install of Windows 10 by performing an in-place upgrade without losing anything other than all installed Windows Updates.
