Why my microsurface pro 3 always getting crazzy hot and big noise of the fan?

[Windows Central Question]

Starting last night after charging, I merely opened excel to do my homework, I even did not use wifi. I saw the CPU usage was crazy high when only excel was opened. It really annoying me a lot since I've already had an older one (same type) with the same problem, this one also does.

Hi! My researching shows this to be a common problem with your unit! If it's still under warranty, I would return it!:wink:
