why i cant open pdf files in my microsoft lumia 535 , which i got via xender from an android phone?

i have adobe acrobat reader app, i cannot open file in xender ,and i cant even find it in my phone

Make sure that the file ends in the .pdf format. If it doesn't, it will not open. I would suggest going to File Explorer to try to locate it if you are on Windows 10 Mobile. If you are on Windows Phone 8.1, try connecting your phone to a computer and select to view files using File Explorer.
