I have a Lumia 640 and have not received an update.

Will Microsoft roll out an update for my 640 or is it working on a new model 640 operating on Windows 10? The update is not available on my 640. Each time I check Update Advisor, the message reads, Windows 10 Upgade isn't available for your phone right now. We're trying to determine if your phone can support Windows 10.

If u upgraded your phone through upgrade advisor, that means u r in official release build. No update yet rolled out as official release. Updates are available only for those who are in windows insidee

Thank you for your response. I haven't received the upgrade to Windows 10 on my Lumia 640. I am running Windows 8.1 Update 2. I'm wondering if I'll receive Windows 10 or will I have to purchase a new phone?

You should see an upgrade available through Upgrade Advisor. When was the last time you checked? What is your phone's carrier or country variant?

1st of all lumia 640 is eligible for upgrading to official release or any available preview build. No need to buy new lumia. Your probs is so unique. As u said update is not giving after using app "upgrade advisor" it is recommended that reset your phone then install upgrade advisor. It will surely work.
