is app switching smooth in windows phone?

i used lumia 620 before and now switched to android.Switching from one app to another is not very smooth back than,Now in win10(or in high end lumias),is the issue resolved? Coz switching apps takes a lot of time in 620 or sometimes app crashed.
This was the main reason i left windows,and if it is resolved than i surely will buy ne lumia.

It depends on the phone. In my experience, it doesn't take long at all. At most, just loading the app might be slower, but again, depends on the phone.

They should get rid of the floating dots. It actually makes you feel like it takes a long time to load.

I concur. I remember with 8.1 though on my 920, I would sometimes kill the app and start from scratch since it'll be faster but it's been over a year since.

Problem is, those dots are better than just showing a blank screen IMO.
