why is my phone draining charge so fast

can someone please help me,i have a lumia 540 and its draining charge so quick,it only charges upto 20 percent then stops infact now its not even charging with its charger or another charger plese help me..

Manually take out the battery , and check for any bumps or irregularities . Faulty battery could be the issue with you. Replace the battery with a genuine one if you find any irregularities.
