How to measure the distance between 2 points on windows maps

I tried doing this on my phone with windows 10 mobile but I couldn't find a way of making it work.

I wanted to measure the distance between 2 random points on a map. There are no labels or markers, just forest. So how can I measure the distance? And I'm not in that location so I cannot say measure from my location
