How do I get notifications in outlook.com in Windows 10 on my phone?

Since upgrading from Windows 8 to 10 on my Lumia 735 I no longer get notifications that emails have arrived in my outlook.com account - I have to log on to see, which wastes time. Is there a fix?

with the update of OS usually there are apps update too in the store, have you done this? I also would suggest a reboot first, if that didn't work, remove the offending account, reboot and re add.
