Hard drive space on Surface Book

[Windows Central Question]

Hi there! I went to Best Buy looking for a new laptop for college, I'm a graphic design major and wanted something I could draw/sketch on that works well with Adobe Creative Suite. They recommended the Surface Book. I LOVE IT! However, the hard drive is tiny! I filled my hard drive up instantly. Is there anything I can do to give it more space aside from using an external hard drive? What's the best way to keep the hard drive clean? Thank you!!
Here are the specs:
Intel? HD Graphics; 6th Gen Intel? Core? i5 processor; 13.5" display; 8GB memory; 128GB solid state drive

Hi! Welcome to Windows Central. Wow, you got 128GB and you filled it up instantly. It would be interesting to see what all is on it.
My suggestion would be a external drive. They are getting fairly cheap and very large and very compact. If you need more help, please join the forum. We are very friendly here!:wink:

Haha well it looks full to me! I've attached a screenshot of it and also my programs list in the control panel. What happens if I want to install more programs though, or a game? =)

Hi Friend! I can see that your Adobe programs are taking a large part! Other then that, it looks normal. Here's a link that you might want to look at.

Ahhhh I see, so it looks like I just should have splurged and bought a bigger size. Oh well, guess I'll look into external storage. Thank you so much for replying and for your advice!! :smile:
