no notifications on messenger app

hello im using windows 10 mobile ,latest stable build,everything was fine till yesterday when i stopped getting notifications on facebook messenger app. It is missing from notifications and action center too. I did soft reset,reinstalled app nothing helps.

are notifications working for other apps like messaging and whatsapp?
