How do I stop facebook images syncing to my people tab in lumia 950?

the people tab in lumia 950 keeps showing images of my facebook contacts. I only want it to show the contacts in my hotmail. I see no option to disable this and no forum write ups have helped

1. In the Facebook app, Open the hamburger menu on the bottom right, go to contact and calendar sync and turn it off.
2. Go to outlook.com, check if your facebook account is linked to your outlook account. if so, remove the link.

Those are the only 2 places where this can come from.

There should be an option to disconnect your facebook and phone contacts. I'm sorry I can't give detailed steps because my device is not on Windows 10.

If you want the Facebook contacts to disappear from People completely, try opening People, pressing "..." and then settings. There's an option (in the "Contact list display" section) called "Filter contact list" - that lets you choose whether contacts from a particular account should appear.
