Want to disable Cortana

Hello there!

I want to disable cortana on my lumia 540. Can anyone guide me through this?

Are you on Windows 10? If you're running AU or higher, you can limit a lot of what she does, i.e., "stop getting to know me" in Settings\Speech, inking, & typing, and clear the info she knows about you in the cloud (Cortana settings\Change what Cortana knows about me in the cloud) but I don't think you can completely disable her.

Another simple way is to switch off location .

* You can't disable it completely. It can do simple tasks to ease your life.

Hi I hear this ***** about Cortana all the time. If you don't want to follow @ Aman Deep and @spicypadthai suggestions; you can live dangerously and use this link by HTG. Not some thing I would recommend, but It you hate Cortana that much give this a look!:smile:
