Sound doesn't work. How do I fix it?

Windows had to redo my computer because someone put something in on my face book. They got done. They were going to shut down the computer and said to wait at least 20 minutes before I turned the computer back on. I want 40 minutes. Turned on just fine. When I went back to face book I noticed that there was no sound. Also, after not moving for over an hour there was no screen saver. I would really like to get the sound back. The screen saving would also be nice.

Hi, it sounds like you had to restart your computer from scratch. Just go to your computer manufacturer's website and download the drivers for your sound card.

The OP let someone take control of their PC. That is a no no! There is no telling what they have done and may be using the OPs IP address and PC.
I have seen this in my retirement village. This is a forum of ransomware! Never ever answer these calls and give the caller control of your PC
