why cant i hear the ringtones on my phone even though sound is turned up

Cannot hear my ringtones to enable me to choose one, and how to turn them louder

Try doing a soft reset to the phone, a d set the ringtone again. Also, check what your settings are. Open settings. Personalisation, and sounds. Try to change the ringtones and try again. Tell me if it works.
