When I select sleep in the power menu the computer seems to go to sleep. The power light starts to flash. When I press a key on my keyboard the computer powers backup but goes into a full reboot mode. It does not do a full power off restart.
It does not seem to take long enough to write a file to the hard disk when I put it to sleep. I think it has nothing to read from disk and starts from the beginning.
