I have had a Nexus 7 2013 Android tablet for 3 years (math, woohoo!) and would often plug it into my desktop to transfer files using a good old microUSB to USB A cable. I'd also just charge the tablet off of the same cable since it's connected to a powered USB hub that also goes to the PC.
Can I do the same with a Windows 10 tablet? I just got an Asus Transformer Mini 10" that uses a microUSB port to charge. What will happen if I plug it into my PC? Anything good, bad or otherwise? Thanks in advance.
