I forgot the password so how do I reset my phone

You would have to download the Windows Device Recovery Tool here and connect your phone to your computer.

Let it scan it, choose your phone, and choose to reinstall the software.

You can use reset hard rest.
Turn off your device press volume down button and press the power button together until you see a big exclamatory mark (!) then you have to follow a sequence volume up then volume down then power button and volume up ( i am not sure of sequence just check in internet for the correct on) then yours device will restart and start the resetting process
