How do I change the wallpaper that appears when I log in?

It appeared without invitation. I have gone through a great deal of time and effort with no success. The animal (three toed sloth) that I am forced to look at is not at all attractive.

Go to Settings > Personalization > Background. From the drop down list, you can choose whether you want a slideshow, picture or a solid colour as your background.

Once your in, go to lock screen. You should be able to hit browse and change your lock screen photo.

You just right click the background, select Personalize>Lock Screen>Browse, and then find the photo you want. Alternatively, you can go to Settings>Personalize>Lock Screen>Browse... same thing as the first step.
