photos from windows phone won't upload to the cloud on laptop

[Windows Central Question]

My windows phone was recently reset. When it came back, there was a new camera and software including OneDrive. I set the phone to automatically send pics to OneDrive but it only sends it to the one on my phone - which is unnecessary - I need them to go to the laptop the way it did before the reset. and since I cannot delete the onedrive from the phone, I don't know how to get the photos to the cloud and off my phone.

Are the phone and laptop signed in to the same Microsoft Account?

If they are, check that your OneDrive on laptop is syncing properly.
