Have you tried restarting your device? What kind of connection do you have? WiFi, cellular? etc? What kind of signal strength you getting? Are other things working? Can you browse the web?

If on Windows Phone or W10M, Try a Soft Reset. Hold the Volume Down + Powerbuttons until the phone vibrates and reboots (about 10 seconds). Soft Reset isa great go-to to solve many types of glitch. You do not lose user data.
