Set video recordings to stereo audio

[Windows Central Question]

I've searched the forums to try to understand why my 950 records video in only single channel 1 (mono). I understand that WM10 does not really support the advertised Rich Audio and that it cannot currently use all 4 microphones, but I also read in the forums that it should record in at least stereo?

I cannot find any settings in the Systems menu, or on the camera, for setting the Video Camera audio?

I'm one of the odd iOS users who switched from an iPhone6, partly because few phone cameras record in 1080/60p, and the iPhone6 does not record in anything but mono.

While I wish I could use all 4 mics, I'll even take plain old Stereo for now.

My 950 XL records in stereo. Maybe you have bad mics.
