SP2 stays on boot logo after upgrading to Win 10

Hey guys, I just purchased a surface pro 2 from eBay, everything is working perfectly except that i tried to install windows 10 on it and each time after it restarts for installation completion it just stays at the Surface logo and nothing happens. please help me, I want windows 10 on it and not the old 8.1 since its not supported anymore.

The upgrade period is officially over.

Assuming, however, that you got Windows 10 successfully, but your device just isn't booting into Windows, you just download the recovery tools from Microsoft.
