Windows Central Question

About 2 weeks ago I started having problems with connecting to Ethernet/Lan.
Always happens on a cold start after some time (computer warm) and a lot of messing around with the ethernet cable were it plugs into my HP Desktop it starts working
sometimes.
I run the windows 10 internet problem scanner it says no ethernet connection. I
check a little further and I get the warning "ethernet doesn't have a valid IP
configuration"
I have other computers with windows 10 installed and plug the ethernet cable into
any of the other computers the internet works great.
Scratching my head on this one.
Maybe an intermittently bad Ethernet LAN plug on my HP?????
Help????

There are a few reasons lead to this error. You can get rid of it by resetting win sock, clean up DNS cached file, renew IP address.

netsh winsock reset
netsh int tcp reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

If those commands can't help to resolve this issue, I would recommend configuring LAN IP address and its settings (gateway, DNS) manually instead of choosing automatic mode.
