Failed waking up Dell XPS 13 to do NAS backup

I am using a new Dell XPS 13. I tried to find a backup application which can wake up XPS during the night, and do backup to my NAS. However, neither EaseUS nor Acronis succeeded. Seemed WiFi connection could not be established for either application. The backup would do just fine if I was using the computer, when the WiFi connection was ok. Any solution to this? Thanks in advance!!
