Updates for windows 10 insider beyond 14986 not installing

In updates before i would get a message"windows has updated your computer" or "we are setting things up please wait" now only get that after control/alt/del shut down and restart 2 x. Starting with build 15002 all updates for insider preview lead to either a black screen (no desktop) or a desktop with only recycle bin available and all windows programs show as empty. Error message is windows\system32\...\desktop can not be found

Have you tried downloading the latest ISO and installing it? Otherwise try some basic repair command lines. Sfc scannow, dism fixes, etc. Then run updates again. Maybe run Windows update readiness tool. It fixes a lot of stuff. Then do updates again.

Yes thanks tried all that still no success. Using a Toshiba S5T-A7349 I7 laptop and 14986 works just great but starting with 15002 its all the same blank or desktop with errors. Thanks for the help.
