Outlook 2003 will not send emails although the test email shows no faults

[Windows Central Question]

I have just updated my computer & cannot send emails from Outlook 2003 in Windows 10.

I am receiving emails O K but outgoing emails remain in the Outbox.

any help will be appreciated,

Hi and welcome to Windows Central.
