Transfer files from Onedrive Cloud

How can i transfer files from onedrive cloud to external hard drive? I need to free up space on my Onedrive Cloud.

Clicking download just makes another copy. I need to cut/move the files...

Have you tried using the built-in sync tool on Windows 10 or the onedrive app on a laptop or desktop to cut and move files?

might have to move to an external Drive to complete the steps and free up space on your Computer.
