I have leftover subwoofer from an older 5.1 setup that I've been using.
The subwoofer works well, the speakers of said setup not so I've got a seperate stereo speakers.
Both are plugged in via 3.5mm plugs: Stereo speakers in the green plug, Subwoofer in the orange.
It works. And no.. My sound device configuration is setup as 5.1 system with the rear and center speakers disabled. If I test the speakers by clicking on the speaker icons, they do work!
However:
If I play sound it doesn't seem to use the subwoofer..
I'm not an amateur but im quite clueless as of the current problem. I'll restart the PC now but I doubt that will help.
