How to recover my user account password on laptop

Laptop uses Windows 10. I forgot my password for my user account and am unable to create a password reset disk.

If you forgot the password of a Microsoft account, you can reset it online via https://account.live.com/password/reset
If you lost a local user password, you can reset it with Windows installation media: Reset Lost Windows 10 Password with Sticky Keys Method | Password Recovery

Make sure you back all files on your computer before trying the password reset/recovery methods.

You can enable the hidden admin account and use it to login the computer.

If i ware you , i;d rather reset a new password ,

As i know , you can access to your computer with other accounts (Passwords), after this , you can set a new password to replace the old one on your laptop ,or you can install a password reset software to reset the password for your laptop,it functions just like a password reset disk.
