What seems to be the problem? Plug it in the original charger provided and it should be fine?

What is happening? Does the device show it is charging? What is your device? Have you tried a different charger cable? Does it charge over USB only or wall socket only? More information please.

Which phone?

Do you have the original charger? Tried alternate chargers and cables? Tried charging from the USB port on a computer? Inspected the port on the phone for lint/debris/broken or bent pins? Inspected the cable ends for lint/debris/broken or bent pins?
