Does The Battery Life Drop If My Phone Is Always Plugged In?

Over the past year, I grew into the habit of always keeping my phone plugged in for charging whenever I find a port. Since I spend most of my day on a desk, my phone is always plugged in for charging. I recently bought a new Lumia 950 XL. I just wanted to know if this will decrease it's battery life on the long run.

When in the office, my phones are on the wireless charger most of the time....
Hopes it doesn't reduce its life.
