Hello,
I am running W10 and an HP 700-149 computer.
Recently, when I insert a USB key for storage, it is not recognized by my computer. It used to be. My MS band seems to connect and I see it when I choose to safely remove hardware. I tried switching ports - same issue. My Keyboard and Mouse - both USB working. I also tried two different USB keys. These keys work on my laptop.
But it works sometimes. Might take a reboot.
I have tried going into device manager and disabling and re-enabling USB items - but it usually means a restart. Refreshing does not work either.
I have noticed if I do a malware scan (Malware Bytes) and it doesn't complete or is running - it tells me I can't eject the USB key safely because a service is using it. Think this is related?
Help, suggestions?
