need to connect two external monitors to laptop running windows 10

I have dell laptop and want to use two external monitors. what do I need to buy besides the monitors?

First answer the question. What outputs do you have on the laptop to drive two monitors?

You need to know what type of video output you have on your laptop. VGA, HDMI, MINI DISPLAY PORT. You need to get a monitor that can use the same port as your laptop.

Usually a laptop can only output video for one additional monitor.

You would need an external graphics processing unit, GPU. They are now available. They can also power multiple monitors. That would most likely what you would need. You can use it in addition to your one output by your laptop also, if your laptop manufacture allows. So even more monitors.

Do some research on ext gpu or video adapters.
