My Lumia 540 Batery Charging Problems

when charging from "0" it reaches a constant level of 21%. At this level,the phone gets extreem hot until i am forced to remove the batery and Back it again to continue charging normally, Also,the life span is reduced to 10hrs at a standby. Its real suckin.please help.
