Windows Central Question

So my screen decided to be un-responsive today. After a look on YouTube and seeing it can be fixed by pressing the power button and the volume down button at the same time, I was relieved the issue was sorted. But less than 5 mins later the problem arose again and cannot rectify it in the same way. Is there another way to solve this problem??

It sounds like you might have a hardware issue with your device.

Before you seek out assistance/support, I would suggest trying a hard reset by going to settings->system->about->reset your phone. Backup your files first and then reset your phone. Try to re set it up again and see if the issue comes up again.

If it does come up again, contacting support would be your best bet. You can go here and use the tools to see what options come up for you.

If a soft reset does not fix it, try a hard reset, just to see if it is software related. If you still get the same thing after hard reset it means it is hardware related.
