Microsoft Edge keeps forgetting my top sites [ solved]

Does anyone know how to fix Microsoft Edge for PC? Every time I set top sites for the new tab page and close Edge it resets back to the factory top sites. What could be causing my settings to not save?

Here you can see I what my top sites start out as then in the next picture I add a set of random sites. In the last picture I closed and opened edge right back up and the changes I made are all gone. I've tried hitting the pin button in the corner of the top sites to make sure they stay and it makes no difference. No idea why my computer is doing this as this is a fresh factory reset.

Solved. Had to completely trash the files in it.
