Big headache ! All setting gone after hard reset my lumia 1520

[Windows Central Question]

I've got my lumia 1520 past few years.
past 1 year++ ago I installed developers trial of W10.
Then I tried to hard reset it then I've found it totally lost everything... I mean the SETTING app, PHONE app, App Store..... except few thing like HEREmaps and skype.

So how on earth can I reinstall all those again.....the only thing I can do is just connect to the WiFi. thats all.

Use the Windows Device recovery tool. This will return you to 8.1

Another reset will probably give you the same result.

Did you restore from a backup? How old was the backup?

Try giving some time for the Store to update and then the App/Settings to update... Staying on a fast WiFi connection helps minimize the waiting pain.

Only then look at WDRT if it seems nothing is coming back after a few hours. It might even take a day or two for everything to catch up.
