Has anyone else had problems with Stack Commerce (Windows Central Digitial Deals)?

Windows Central partners with Stack Commerce for their digital deals. I bought something that doesn't work and finding it impossible to return it. Researching it, Stack Commerce is notoriously shady. Has anyone else has problems?

I would also like Windows Central to help resolve this but can't find anyone to contact.
