Is there any possibility to install updated messanger or instagram on windows 8.1?

Hello guys.
Recently I decided to install Windows 10 Mobile on my Lumia 630 because I'm tired of being 'behind' with social apps. Everything went great but issue is - it says I have about 400 mb ram free but still using messenger or instagram is slow and it constantly crashes at some point.
Is there anyway to fix it or install those apps? I'm considering downgrading my OS back to 8.1 :/

You cannot get the new W10M apps on 8.1.
