Is running Windows 7 x64 from 32GB USB will lag and will be enough?

I want to make my own portable windows. But the first thing I thought is, is it worth? Or it may lag, for those who experienced running Windows 7 x64 from 32GB USB, please tell me if it's enough or it's lagging, sorry for crap english grammar.
