Failure to install Windows 10 update

[Windows Central Question]

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB4013429) fails to install. Any suggestions for a fix?

Welcome to the forums. If you go into Settings>Updates, underneath the check for updates button there should be a highlight for update history. If you click on that, it may give more information, like an error code. If it does, could you please post that?

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 (KB4013429) fails to install. Any suggestions for a fix?

There is the best alternative for installing that patch(which i really used most of times):
1. Open ms catalog on edge/chrome.
2. Search for that package (i.e. KBXXXXXXX).
3. Choose the package(32/64 bit or Server) and download.
4. Install that package and Share your experience later.
