how to save a audio recording on pc

I have a audio recording that I want to use audacity to slow down the recording for transcripting so I need to import the recording. I'm thinking if I save the file to my PC I will be able to access the file but I'm not seeing how to save the file.

In a CD ?
Saved in another PC ?
You did an audio recording use Windows 10 own built-in Voice Recorder ?
