Yes, its indeed a sad news for older Lumia smartphones that came with Windows Phone 8.1... None of them is eligible for creators update for some reasons...

Although, they will keep receiving various security and stability patches... But nothing beyond that, from what I've heard...

I even doubt if they'll receive the upcoming Redstone update...

BTW, I've a Lumia 430 myself, running on WP8.1 and I wanted to ask how well your phone is handling The W10M...?

Are you experiencing any noticeable slowdowns, bugs, hiccups etc...? And what are your major annoyances with The W10M...? And secondly, how well FB, Messenger and Twitter apps are performing, as these are the app I normally use...

Would truly appreciate a thorough answer as I've heard nothing but horror stories about W10M and most people are saying that its best to stick with The WP8.1...
