How to change email address for app store on phone

I have a Microsoft phone. For the app store I misspelt my email address so cannot download anything. I click on the link 'Fix it here' yet it goes to a page stating there is a problem, please come back later. However that problem has lasted weeks.

Is this your main Microsoft account on phone? Why not sign out of the Store and then sign in again with the correct credentials? As I learnt, if it is your main Microsoft account on the phone whose details are not accurate then you cannot change that without factory resetting the device and then signing in with the right credentials.
