How do I unlock the screen in tablet mode on i7 without keyboard?

When I am in detached/tablet mode on my new i7 and screen locks it asks you to hit Ctl-Alt-Del which is impossible without the keyboard. It says you can hit the "Windows" button, which the i7 apparently does not have. I have read forums and for older units it seems you can hold the power button down and hit the "up" volume button but that does not work either. This should not be this hard...Any advice please....Thanks!

Set up a picture password?
open accessibility and use the on screen keyboard?

Please don't tell me you are using tablet mode without a touch screen.

He has the Ctrl+Alt+Del to sign in option set.

I believe the key combination you're looking for is Windows + Power. At least, that's what it is on most other devices. That combination replaces Ctrl+Alt+Del on tablets.
