Magic Mirror using Windows Mobile DIY?

I have been thinking a about making a "magic/smart" mirror DIY with leftover lcd and Raspberry Pi. however I have 640 and 950 (cracked screen) so I was wondering if anyone has tried using a Windows Phone? I have the docking station for the 950 so I have a few options if someone has any suggestions.
