Windows Hello adds big bar at top of sign-in screen

Ever since I got the new firmware that rolled out to the Surface Pro 4, I have this large gray (system color) bar at the top of the sign in screen. The Windows Hello "eye" doesn't move at all either. It works, but clearly something about it's aesthetics is broken. Has anyone else noticed this and know of some way to fix it? Its not a breaker bug, but it is annoying.
