How to insert 3D models in Powerpoint?

Microsoft said it will give Powerpoint ability to work with 3D models when Creator update comes? I can't see that option. Does anybody knows if they implemented that or was that just a marketing stunt?

That's quite helpful - fall is another term for autumn which means what exactly? July? September? Or May? Maybe February?
